At each Branch meeting (except December) there is a Library table. The Branch has an extensive Library consisting of hundreds of books on textiles and embroidery as well as videos, a dressmaker’s dummy, a maradai, etc. All equipment can be borrowed by members for a small fee each month. Books and equipment are being added to the Library all the time but there is sometimes a short waiting list for popular new books.

BOOKS

Guild members may borrow as many books as they wish each month at a cost of 20p per book per month.

Guild members may borrow as many videos as they wish at a cost of 10p per video per month.

EQUIPMENT

Guild members may borrow a variety of items of textile equipment at varying costs. Although the majority of equipment is stored in the Guild cupboard at the Folk Hall, some of the large pieces are stored in members' homes. If you wish to borrow a specific piece of larger equipment, please contact the Library Co-ordinators before the Branch Meeting to arrange to collect it.
